About the position

As part of the sales team, you will be responsible for the commercial development of your region: Southern Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The exact regional division will be tailored to the successful candidate's place of residence.

Your main task is to develop new markets and further expand existing customer relationships by offering high-quality service and leading-edge products.

You will report to the Market Director DACH.

After an induction and training period, during which you will be introduced to our products and organization by Area Sales Managers in the UK and Germany, you will focus on the following core activities:

Your responsibilities

Relationship management & growth

  • Managing and further developing existing customer relationships (account management)
  • Actively identifying and developing new markets and applications for our products

New business development

  • Approaching organizations that process and/or transport liquid products within sectors such as food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals.
  • Prospecting (including via lists and online research)
  • Analyzing customer needs and developing appropriate, cost-efficient total solutions for IBC logistics
  • Demonstrating HB RTS products
  • Preparing commercial proposals (in collaboration with colleagues from depots and head office)
  • Negotiating prices, volumes, and delivery times, and successfully closing deals

Market and business development

  • Representing HB RTS at trade shows and other promotional events
  • Contributing to business intelligence and market insights

You take a consultative sales approach and work with customers at all levels: from the shop floor to senior management.

You develop a thorough understanding of your customers' business processes and actively identify opportunities for further collaboration or added value. In some cases, you deliver complete turnkey solutions, optimizing the entire handling of liquid bulk flows for the customer.

You will report monthly to the Market Director on all aspects of your activities, including:

  • Status and developments at key accounts
  • Prospect updates and sales activities
  • Time management and planning
  • Relevant market developments

Remuneration & conditions

  • Fixed gross monthly salary (depending on experience and proven performance), 12 months per year
  • Unlimited bonus scheme, paid quarterly, based on revenue and margin targets

About you

You have at least a master's degree in sales, commercial economics, or similar, and can demonstrate a successful track record. Experience in a similar or related sector is an advantage. We value market knowledge more than specific product knowledge.

You are a self-starter with a strong work ethic, high energy, drive, and perseverance.

  • Experience in sales to bulk liquid sectors (food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, chemicals)

  • Solution-oriented and/or technical sales experience
  • Strong in terms of figures
  • Excellent organizational skills (particularly regional planning and time management)
  • Able to translate customer information into clear product benefits
  • Fluent English (for communication with colleagues at headquarters and in other countries)

Experience:

At least 5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in food processing, cosmetics, logistics, or packaging.
